Associate Corporate IT Engineer

Salary: £42,000 - 82,000 per year

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in an IT support background with previous use of a helpdesk/ticketing system
• Solid understanding of Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Server operating systems
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, the Office 365 suite, and admin tools
• Experience administering business applications
• Experience with Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and Group Policy
• Good appreciation of cyber security, including two-factor authentication (MFA)
• Experience with asset management
• Laptop and desktop experience
• Printer maintenance experience
• Experience with cloud-based telephony
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate are a plus
• This role requires being on-site 3 days per week

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1st and 2nd line support to our global user base via remote tools and face-to-face
• Proactively own global IT support by troubleshooting and resolving incidents
• Take ownership of the build process for laptop configuration for your region
• Manage IT peripherals including printers, phones, audio-visual equipment, desktops, and laptops
• Participate in small project activities as directed by IT Management
• Liaise with external suppliers for hardware purchases and application renewals
• Keep IT security at the forefront of your mind with a least-privileged approach
• Operate and maintain business-as-usual IT systems
• Become a technical subject matter expert for assigned applications and services, providing improvement opportunities, license management, and escalations
• Work with the management team to suggest ways to optimise the use of IT equipment and applications
• Maintain the asset management system to ensure 100% accuracy
• Operate with one global IT corporate standard
