AI Integration Engineer

Salary: £65,000 - 65,000 per year

Requirements:

• We have 2-4 years experience in AI/ML, software engineering or a closely related field.
• We have experience deploying LLM or machine learning solutions into production.
• We have strong programming skills in Python and/or C#.
• We have experience working with Microsoft Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure AI Search, Azure Functions, Azure Storage and Azure Key Vault.
• We understand APIs, databases and enterprise system integration.
• We have experience or understanding of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Graph API.
• We have strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• We can take AI projects from prototype through to robust production deployment.
• We have experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases and AI frameworks such as Haystack, LlamaIndex or Semantic Kernel.
• We have experience with forecasting, anomaly detection or data classification.
• We have knowledge of CNC, manufacturing, construction or other industrial environments, which would be advantageous but is not essential.
• We understand GDPR, ISO standards and secure AI development.

Responsibilities:

• We design and deliver AI solutions using Microsoft Azure, including RAG, data classification, forecasting and anomaly detection.
• We identify opportunities to introduce AI into existing business processes and systems.
• We integrate AI solutions with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID, SQL databases and other business applications.
• We develop straightforward and user-friendly AI applications for web and Microsoft Teams.
• We develop and deploy LLM and machine learning solutions into production environments.
• We implement monitoring, logging and audit processes to support GDPR, ISO and wider security requirements.
• We work with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
• We evaluate emerging AI technologies and make recommendations regarding their potential use within the business.
• We ensure solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable and aligned with company standards.

This is a hands-on permanent role based in Scotland, working Monday to Friday, with a salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum.
