Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant

Salary: £75,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Financials
• Functional knowledge of core Oracle Finance modules such as GL, AP, AR, Cash Management and Fixed Assets
• Strong understanding of Finance and accounting processes
• Experience gathering requirements and translating them into Oracle functional solutions
• Experience across Oracle implementations and projects, as well as BAU environments
• Understanding of the implementation lifecycle, including configuration, testing, UAT and go-live
• Confidence working directly with Finance users and senior stakeholders
• Ability to investigate problems, challenge existing processes and recommend practical solutions
• Proactive approach and willingness to remain hands-on

Responsibilities:

• Deliver functional improvements and enhancements across Oracle Fusion Financials
• Work with Finance stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective Oracle solutions
• Support the implementation and rollout of Fusion Finance across new business areas and entities
• Review existing Finance processes and identify opportunities for improvement, standardisation and automation
• Configure and support Oracle Finance functionality across the wider Fusion estate
• Support functional design, testing, UAT and deployment of new solutions
• Troubleshoot complex functional issues and guide Finance users
• Work alongside external implementation and delivery partners on Oracle projects
• Support user adoption, training and knowledge transfer
• Contribute to the wider Oracle roadmap and emerging capabilities, including Oracle AI Agents

We are recruiting for an experienced Oracle Finance Functional Consultant to join a large, global organisation strengthening its internal Oracle capability. The role is based in Newcastle, with a salary of £75K–£90K plus bonus. You will sit between Finance, Technology and the wider business, working closely with Finance users across new implementations, business-area rollouts, functional enhancements and continued development of the Oracle roadmap. This opportunity offers broader ownership of an internal Oracle environment and scope to shape how Finance processes and systems develop while building knowledge of a large, complex Oracle estate.
