Cloud Engineer

Salary: £55,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience as a Cloud Engineer
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, automation, monitoring, and production support
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including VMs, AKS, App Services, and Storage
• Knowledge of Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Linux
• Knowledge of MongoDB or NoSQL
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD
• Experience with Terraform and/or Ansible
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, and/or Bash
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, or Grafana
• Knowledge of cloud networking and security

Responsibilities:

• Manage, maintain, and improve our Azure cloud infrastructure
• Support Kubernetes/AKS and containerized environments
• Work across Linux production systems
• Support environments using MongoDB/NoSQL
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity
• Troubleshoot complex cloud and infrastructure issues
• Support incidents and conduct root-cause analysis
• Manage upgrades, patching, and security updates
• Use automation and Infrastructure as Code to improve environments
• Work closely with development and wider technical teams
