Senior Identity and Full-Stack Engineer

Salary: £42,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience operating and supporting Identity Provider or Identity-as-a-Service platforms; Okta experience is preferred, though other identity platforms are considered.
• Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SSO, MFA and identity security controls.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, identity integration and cloud-native services.
• Strong software engineering capability across C# .NET APIs, backend services and secure integrations.
• Experience with Terraform, GitHub, CI/CD automation and scripting tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate, mentor and support colleagues.
• Desirable experience includes Okta administration, SCIM provisioning, access governance, GraphQL, Playwright, TypeScript, Terraform-based infrastructure provisioning, AI-assisted engineering tools and regulated financial services.

Responsibilities:

• Own and evolve our customer-facing Identity Provider (IDP) and IDaaS platform, ensuring reliability, security and continuous improvement.
• Design and implement authentication, SSO, federation, user lifecycle and access governance solutions using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML and SCIM.
• Build and support cloud-native applications, APIs and integrations on Microsoft Azure, taking solutions from design through to production support.
• Drive automation and engineering excellence using Terraform, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines and scripting tools.
• Troubleshoot complex incidents, perform root-cause analysis and strengthen operational resilience across digital services.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to technical leadership, standards and best practices across Digital Engineering.
