Salary: £49,000 - 77,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Exceptional experience leading data and analytics in a consulting or agency environment, including setting up client teams and operating models.
  • Belief in the value of data-driven marketing and AI to deliver results.
  • Experience building relationships with clients at all levels, from junior stakeholders to C-suite, and navigating complex personalities.
  • Ability to unite people across a broad range of skill sets around a clear brief or goal and deliver excellent client work.
  • Strong presentation and active-listening skills, with the ability to turn client needs into clear actions.
  • Passion for data-driven marketing and for following trends to develop impactful work for clients.
  • Significant experience scoping, resourcing, and developing commercial proposals.
  • Knowledge of data and analytics technologies across the marketing and digital ecosystem, including media, commerce, social and digital platforms, CRM, and loyalty.
  • Knowledge of analytics solutions and how AI can be applied in marketing to drive growth; a technical analytics background is advantageous.
  • Good appreciation of data strategy consulting, including data landscapes, data management, governance, roadmaps, and use-case development.
  • Good appreciation of analytics and AI, including segmentation, predictive modelling, measurement and reporting, AI marketing applications, and product development.
  • Good appreciation of marketing technologies, including data cloud solutions, clean rooms, analytics and reporting tools, CDPs, CRM and marketing automation, and AI technologies.
  • Good appreciation of marketing operations, including operating models, process design, governance, data culture and skills development, client enablement, and business change.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the setup and onboarding of a new client, building a trusted partnership and connecting teams across VML and WPP to deliver services and solutions.
  • Set up and lead a client-oriented team of data, technology, and business consultants, analysts, and engineers; oversee onboarding plans and manage team workload.
  • Direct and motivate the team to achieve its goals and deliver high-quality client work.
  • Act as a strategic partner and advisor, helping clients use data, martech, analytics, and AI to achieve their goals and improve effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Develop Data & Analytics consulting proposals and methodologies covering data, marketing technology, AI, and operations, including processes, skills, culture, and business change.
  • Develop data, AI, martech, and adtech transformation roadmaps, measurement frameworks, and associated operating models.
  • Lead analytics and data science solutions, including customer analytics, digital analytics, business intelligence, and AI applications.
  • Share thought leadership and best practices with clients and colleagues across VML.
  • Work with clients to diagnose and solve challenges, support their data and AI vision, and put it into action.
  • Drive client success and satisfaction.
  • Lead the data and analytics contribution to new-business pitches, developing proposals and presentations.
  • Identify ideas and opportunities to grow existing clients and extend our data offering to clients working with us in other disciplines.
