Software Engineer

Salary: £73,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:

• 0–2 years of professional software engineering experience; new graduates are welcome.
• Degree in Computer Science or an adjacent field.
• Strong computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and systems design.
• Experience with a common programming language such as Java or Python, or a similar language.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Enjoy collaborating with other engineers and working as part of a team.
• Interest in developing skills, making a positive impact, and exploring technology.

Responsibilities:

• Write code, design systems, and build proof of concepts to improve systems and automation across our technology stack.
• Contribute to the full software engineering life cycle, from conception and design through implementation and operation of systems and services.
• Support the health and maintainability of our systems and contribute to continuous improvement in reliability, testing, and operational monitoring.
• Participate in on-call duties.
• Collaborate with product engineering, modeling, and other platform teams to deliver high-quality software products.
