Experienced Statistical Programmer
Job Description
Salary: £45,000 - 85,000 per year
Requirements:- In-depth knowledge of statistical programming methods, languages, and data structures
- Ability to support programming activities of medium to high complexity with minimal guidance
- Preferred skills: advanced analytics, analytical reasoning, biological sciences, biostatistics, clinical trials, data modeling, data privacy standards, data quality, data savvy, attention to detail, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), report writing, research ethics, research, Statistical Analysis System (SAS) programming, statistics, and technological aptitude
- Design and develop statistical programs for clinical research analysis and reporting
- Perform quality control and verification for assigned clinical research analysis and reporting activities
- Maintain statistical programming documentation as appropriate
- Complete programming tasks of medium to high complexity with high-quality, timely deliverables
- Follow departmental processes and procedures
- Collaborate with statistical programming and cross-functional team members to achieve project goals
- Review requirements and data, identify gaps, propose solutions, and apply expertise to improve programming efficiency and deliverable quality
- Maintain compliance with required company and departmental training, time reporting, and other business and operational processes
- Contribute to departmental innovation and process improvement projects as needed
