SAP SD Lead

Salary: £75,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need strong SAP SD experience with excellent knowledge of end-to-end Sales & Distribution processes.
• We need proven hands-on SAP configuration experience.
• We need previous experience with S/4HANA transformation or implementation.
• We need experience in system stabilisation, optimisation or transformation projects.
• We need a strong understanding of order-to-cash (OTC) processes.
• Manufacturing experience would be advantageous.
• We need strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• We need the ability to work independently and take ownership of the SAP SD landscape.

Responsibilities:

• We lead and take ownership of the SAP SD function.
• We support the carve-out programme and stabilisation of the existing SAP environment.
• We provide hands-on SAP SD configuration and functional expertise.
• We work with Sales, Customer Service, Logistics and IT stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver SAP solutions.
• We support the organisations S/4HANA transformation.
• We troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP SD issues.
• We support testing, implementation and continuous system improvements.
• We work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful delivery.
• We provide guidance on SAP SD processes, best practices and solution design.

We are a leading manufacturing organisation undergoing a significant business transformation. This is a permanent SAP SD Lead position based in Cardiff with a hybrid working pattern of 2 days onsite per week, offering a salary of £75,000–£85,000 plus benefits. We are currently carving out from a sister company and are looking for someone to help stabilise our existing SAP landscape while supporting our wider S/4HANA transformation. This is a hands-on role with genuine ownership of the Sales & Distribution solution.
