PhD Engineer

Salary: £69,000 - 109,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for a bright PhD graduate in an applied numerate subject.
• We want excellent skills in programming, algorithm design, hardware development or FPGAs.
• We want candidates who are quick to pick up new skills and keen to take charge of complex and innovative technology projects.
• We require a PhD in a numerate discipline with a strong supporting undergraduate degree in electronics, computer science, physics or similar.
• We require A Levels including A*s in Maths and Physics.
• We want algorithm development or programming skills in C or C++.
• We want electronics skills such as PCB design, sensor integration or FPGA development.
• We require UK National status.

Responsibilities:

• We build integrated software-hardware systems for defence and security industries.
• We work on projects spanning low-power embedded systems through to high throughput server applications and everything in between.
• We combine custom hardware with innovative software to deliver unique technical challenges.
• We want the successful candidate to take charge of complex and innovative technology projects from the word go.
