• Enterprise-scale data architecture experience
• Experience with AWS cloud data platforms
• Experience with Spark, PySpark, and Python
• Experience with Airflow and ELT/data processing
• Experience with data lakehouse and data products
• Experience with streaming and event-driven architecture
• Experience with data governance
• Experience with architecture standards, patterns, and technical design reviews
• Experience delivering data architecture that enables ML/AI platforms
• Deep engineering credibility with the ability to operate at both technical and senior stakeholder level
• Financial Services or another highly regulated environment experience is advantageous

We are a major UK organisation offering an initial 6-month contract for a Senior Data Architect in London on a hybrid basis, with 3 days onsite. This is an inside IR35 role focused on shaping the evolution of a large-scale, cloud-based data ecosystem, and we are looking for someone with strong engineering credibility who can contribute across complex distributed data platforms and senior stakeholders.
