Senior Software Engineer

Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are interested in strong proficiency in Python with experience in C++ development.

• We are interested in experience with Linux operating systems, such as Red Hat or Ubuntu.
• We are interested in experience working within a variety of development frameworks and practices, for example DevOps, DevSecOps, SCRUM, MLOps, and XP.
• We are interested in experience with data analysis and manipulation tools, such as Pandas.
• We are interested in experience across the software development lifecycle, with specific focus on design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• We are interested in experience using the Unified Modelling Language.
• We are interested in excellent communication skills.
• We are interested in experience in the development of computer vision related products and services.
• We are interested in experience with visual processing libraries such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
• We are interested in experience in personnel management.
• We are interested in experience operating as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• We are interested in experience developing and/or implementing reference architectures.
• We are interested in experience in the development of test harnesses.

Responsibilities:

• We lead software development projects across multiple projects and stages of the software development lifecycle.
• We work as part of multidisciplinary teams with Systems Engineers, Security Engineers, Product Managers, and others as required.
• We support the wider team in project planning, requirements definition, and requirements analysis.
• We lead software design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance for a range of AI and Computer Vision products.
• We contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance our processes, tooling, infrastructure, and development frameworks.
• We act as part of multidisciplinary teams in delivering engineering services to our clients.
• We provide subject matter guidance to clients on the architecture and design of software solutions.
• We provide technical documentation, briefings, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
