Salary: £61,000 - 101,000 per year

Requirements:

• Demonstrated professional experience in a regional Network Operations (NetOps) or Network Engineering role.
• Strong working knowledge of enterprise IT governance, compliance, and ITIL frameworks.
• Ability to drive complex technical project milestones independently.
• Capability to align network specialisation with broader enterprise IT and business objectives.
• Demonstrated success working across multi-regional, cross-functional teams in different time zones.
• Skill in decomposing enterprise cloud migrations into actionable, resource-allocated project steps.
• Preferred certifications: CCNA, CompTIA Network, or Aruba Certified Switching Associate (ASCA).
• Preferred IT service management certification: ITIL Foundation Certification in IT Service Management.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary technical escalation point for the Level 1 Network Operations Center (NOC).
• Diagnose complex network performance bottlenecks, latency issues, and outages to maintain high availability.
• Lead remote staging, configuration, and provisioning of branch networking hardware.
• Provide remote technical leadership to field engineers during physical rack-and-stack, cabling, and patching phases.
• Implement network designs provided by Global Network Architecture teams.
• Execute enterprise rollouts for Software-Defined WAN (SD-WAN) and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) architecture.
• Execute lifecycle patching, firmware updates, and vulnerability remediation across all network hardware.
• Conduct automated and manual configuration audits to ensure compliance with enterprise security baselines.
• Monitor network telemetry and system health to identify and resolve performance degradation before impact.
