Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and integration of our next-generation application hosting platform.
• Support the redevelopment of the Member Website platform delivered by Pixel.
• Design secure, scalable web or mobile member apps hosted on Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), or serverless functions.
• Integrate Microsoft Entra ID for secure member authentication, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and role-based access control (RBAC).
• Oversee the creation of secure RESTful APIs to connect the member app with legacy systems, CRM platforms, or third-party services.
• Design Azure-based hosting platforms.
• Design Kubernetes and AKS solutions.
• Define hybrid-hosting architectures.
• Develop high-availability and resilience strategies.
• Design integration with identity platforms.
• Design application connectivity and networking.
• Support database integration and hosting.
• Define security and operational requirements.
• Lead architecture workshops.
• Collaborate with software development teams.
• Work directly with Pixel and other suppliers.
• Support technology decision-making.
• Develop high-level and low-level designs.
• Produce architecture and deployment documentation.
• Maintain platform standards and reference architectures.

More:

We are offering a hybrid role based in London with remote working and occasional on-site attendance. This is an initial 6-month contract starting ASAP, with a day rate inside IR35. The role focuses on supporting the redevelopment of the Member Website platform delivered by Pixel, with the platform expected to support additional application modernisation initiatives in the future.
