Specialist Solution Engineer
Job Description
Salary: £43,500 - 71,500 per year
Requirements:- We have 5+ years of experience in customer-facing technical selling roles such as Solution Engineer, Technical/Solution Architect, or Forward Deployed Engineer, or in technical project delivery roles.
- We have experience in process intelligence, including process analytics, process mining, task mining, process simulation, and data-driven business process management concepts.
- We have strong data engineering skills and builder credibility, including experience with SQL, Python, data pipelines, and API integrations.
- We are familiar with LLMs, prompt engineering, and agentic orchestration frameworks.
- We understand how pre-sales fits into a complex enterprise deal cycle and are motivated by solving technical challenges that drive commercial success.
- We have proven relationship-building skills and can communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders from C-suite executives to IT infrastructure and database teams.
- We have a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science/AI, or equivalent.
- We bring a strong blend of technical depth, strategic business acumen, and low-ego collaboration.
- We take an agile, hands-on approach to problem-solving and favor progress over perfection.
- We are intellectually open and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
- We partner with Account Executives to run comprehensive technical discovery sessions and uncover business problems, technical blockers, and architecture constraints.
- We build proof of concepts and minimum viable prototypes to validate technical feasibility for agentic automations, replatforming initiatives, and cost-saving opportunities.
- We guide customers on data connectivity, process data models, ETL and processing pipelines, and integrations with enterprise systems such as Salesforce Data Cloud, Snowflake, and legacy ERPs.
- We translate prototypes into value-based technical messaging and business cases that show financial impact to executive stakeholders.
- We help customers safely activate autonomous AI agents by demonstrating the need for clean process context, clear handoffs, and well-understood workflows.
- We lead and execute professional services engagements in process intelligence, technical onboarding, and specialized training for enterprise clients.
- We act as the primary consultant to support customer adoption and guide teams on process intelligence methodologies and best practices.
- We contribute reusable assets, reference architectures, and demo innovations, and we mentor junior Solution Engineers.
