QA Automation Engineer

Requirements:

• Strong Python skills
• Linux and Docker experience
• Knowledge of VMs and containerisation
• Experience with Git, GitLab and Jira
• Background in automation testing
• Agile/Scrum experience
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Desirable experience in broadband, telecoms or networking environments
• CPE or Home Gateway testing experience
• IPv4/IPv6 networking knowledge
• Experience with FTTP, xDSL and Wi-Fi technologies
• Knowledge of RF or wireless networking concepts
• 4G/5G network knowledge
• Legal right to work in the UK at the time of application

Responsibilities:

• Developing automated test scripts using Python
• Maintaining and enhancing CPE and broadband test environments
• Supporting Linux, Docker and virtualised platforms
• Investigating complex technical issues and identifying solutions
• Collaborating within Agile delivery teams
• Using Git, GitLab and Jira to support software delivery
• Contributing to ongoing platform and process improvements
