People Data Analyst
Job Description
Salary: £50,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements:- Experience working with HR, workforce, payroll, or people data.
- Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and data reconciliation.
- Experience producing reports, dashboards, or management information.
- Comfortable analysing large datasets and identifying trends and anomalies.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate data insights clearly.
- Experience with Power BI or similar visualisation tools would be advantageous.
- Previous involvement in HR systems, data migration, or transformation projects would be highly beneficial.
- Support people data cleansing, validation, and governance activities.
- Prepare and analyse HR data to support system implementation and transformation projects.
- Produce regular and ad hoc people reports and management information.
- Support the development and maintenance of dashboards and visual reporting.
- Work closely with HR, IT, and project teams to improve data accuracy and reporting capabilities.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Support HCM implementation activities, ensuring workforce data is cleansed, validated, and migration-ready.

We are partnering with a large, complex organisation undergoing significant people systems transformation to appoint a People Data Analyst on a fixed-term basis through to December 2027. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical HR data professional to play a key role in improving data quality, supporting a major HCM implementation programme, and delivering meaningful people insight across a multi-site workforce. The role is based in Newcastle (Tyne & Wear) and is a permanent, full-time position with a salary of 50,000 per annum.
