Requirements:

• Experience using research and data analytics to test design hypotheses.
• Ability to collaborate openly and communicate the value of good design to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience improving and adapting designs rapidly as new user needs or technical constraints emerge.
• Ability to ensure designs meet strict public sector accessibility regulations and work for everyone, regardless of digital skills.
• Ability to work in agile, multidisciplinary teams alongside user researchers, content designers, and product managers.
• BPSS clearance required.

Responsibilities:

• We support work on the Government Gateway programme, mainly supporting SCP, EACD/RATE, and FRAUD PREVENTION CENTRE.
• We build service flows based on real evidence of user needs and government outcomes.
• We create wireframes, user flows, and digital prototypes.
• We ensure our designs meet strict public sector accessibility regulations and work for everyone, regardless of digital skills.
• We work in agile, multidisciplinary teams alongside user researchers, content designers, and product managers.

We are recruiting an Interaction Designer for the Government Gateway programme, with a maximum supplier rate of £460 and a 6-month duration.
