IT Manager

Salary: £65,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience leading small IT teams in SME or mid-sized environments
• Strong Azure and Microsoft 365 engineering capability
• Hands-on Intune and Entra ID management experience
• Proven experience delivering infrastructure and cloud projects end to end
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Proactive, improvement-led approach with clear technical ownership

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop our small IT team across infrastructure, cloud, and support
• Own Azure, Entra ID, and Intune administration, governance, and modernisation
• Manage Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, security, and compliance
• Oversee Windows Server, AD, GPO, DNS/DHCP, and core identity services
• Manage VMware and Hyper-V virtualisation platforms
• Deliver infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and cloud adoption projects
• Implement security controls, patching, monitoring, and disaster recovery
• Manage vendors, budgets, SLAs, and service performance
• Act as 3rd-line escalation for complex issues
• Drive continual improvement across systems, processes, and service delivery
