Requirements:

• Active SC security clearance is required for this role.
• Experience of governing and owning the end-to-end architecture of a complex technology landscape.
• Experience of operating as a Lead Architect within the constraints and complexities of large Managed Services accounts.
• Knowledge of contracts and commercials.
• Proven stakeholder management and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities:

• We own the end-to-end architecture across the contracted services.
• We act as the focal point for technical integrity, architectural governance and strategic direction.
• We govern change within Managed Services contracts and ensure delivery quality and adherence to standards.
• We manage key stakeholders, both internal and external.
• We strategically map the technology landscape, including roadmaps and future state architectures, aligned to contractual commitments and client needs.
• We provide trusted advice to the client and build strong client relationships.
• We provide direction and guidance on technical aspects, ensuring adherence to standards and practices while aligning with client requirements.

We are seeking a seasoned Managed Services Lead Architect to join a high-profile MOD account in Manchester, working in a hybrid pattern of 3 days per week on site. This is a 6-month contract with a rate of £575 per day inside IR35. We support a client undergoing significant transformation and modernisation, with digital transformation at the heart of their strategy. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in shaping the future technology landscape and to work closely with senior client stakeholders and delivery teams within the wider MOD environment.
