IT Strategic Enterprise Architect
Job Description
Salary: £49,000 - 65,000 per year
Requirements:- We bring strong Enterprise Architecture experience within a complex, federated IT environment.
- We understand application landscapes, integration patterns, digital platforms and capability-based planning.
- We can translate strategy into practical, visual and executable roadmaps that senior leaders can understand and act on.
- We are confident facilitators and trusted advisors, able to influence architecture teams, IT leaders and business stakeholders without relying on direct authority.
- We bring strategic thinking, structure, pragmatism and a clear focus on outcomes.
- We will bring together domain and solution architecture plans into one coherent enterprise view.
- We will identify duplication, fragmentation and capability gaps across the application landscape, turning complexity into clear, fact-based recommendations.
- We will shape multi-year transformation roadmaps that balance ambition, business value, risk, dependencies and delivery capacity.
- We will coach and align a federated community of architects, creating shared principles, stronger collaboration and more consistent enterprise thinking.
- We will champion experience-led architecture, helping create a more seamless, intuitive and connected employee experience across the value chain.
- We will own and develop the enterprise application and capability blueprint, creating a clear view of where we are today, where we need to be, and how we get there.
- We will help leaders make informed decisions on where to build, buy, modernise, simplify or retire technology, ensuring every decision supports long-term value, integration and business impact.
