IT Network Technician

Salary: £26,500 - 27,500 per year

Requirements:

• We require experience in Office 365 administration and support.
• We require experience supporting Windows 10 and 11.
• We require experience with Active Directory, Azure, and Exchange administration.
• We require experience with new user setups and mailbox creation.
• We need basic networking knowledge, including TCP, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi.
• We require experience with IT ticketing systems and documentation tools.
• We value knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
• We require previous experience in an IT support or IT technician role.
• We require a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computing, or equivalent experience.
• We require at least 2 years experience in a technical support role.
• We require a strong understanding of Exchange Online, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• We require experience with Active Directory and Azure AD.
• We require a full UK driving licence, as travel to other sites is required.
• Desirable experience includes Veeam backup, Cisco Meraki router and switch configuration, and VMware.

Responsibilities:

• We serve as the first point of contact for IT assistance to our store network and head office.
• We provide 1st line support, diagnosing hardware and software faults and resolving technical and application problems.
• We liaise with end users to ensure issues are resolved.
• We provide helpdesk support for a variety of back office applications.
• We install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
• We set up new hardware and recycle old hardware.
• We approve permission change requests and manage starters and leavers.
• We assist with support of Active Directory.
• We ensure licences are assigned and renewed as needed.
• We assist with the roll-out of new applications.
• We liaise with external contractors and suppliers as needed.
• We support hardware such as PCs, laptops, printers, photocopiers, and office moves.
• We manage users and the user environment, including application management, network environment, PC, and desktop support.
• We support and administer Microsoft 365 services, including email, file sharing, and collaboration tools.
• We troubleshoot issues relating to Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft OneDrive.
• We support onboarding and offboarding of staff, including device setup and access provisioning.
• We monitor and respond to IT support tickets in a timely manner.
• We maintain IT equipment including printers, workstations, and peripherals.
