Cyber Security Engineer

Salary: £85,000 - 85,000 per year

• We are interested in candidates who can demonstrate experience of working within Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
• We are interested in candidates who can demonstrate experience of Microsoft security technologies such as Intune, Purview, Defender, Sentinel or Entra ID.
• We are interested in candidates who can demonstrate experience of SIEM platforms, incident response and security operations.
• We are interested in candidates who can demonstrate experience of security frameworks including Cyber Essentials, NIST, CIS Controls and ISO 27001.

Responsibilities:

• We assess technical and security requirements across infrastructure, cloud platforms and business systems.
• We design and recommend security solutions that balance business needs with effective risk management.
• We produce technical proposals, solution documentation and implementation plans.
• We lead projects through planning, deployment, testing, go-live and ongoing operational support.
• We work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver secure and practical outcomes.
• We support security monitoring, incident response and continuous improvement initiatives.
• We contribute to security architecture reviews and technology roadmap discussions.
• We ensure security controls remain effective across both cloud and on-premise environments.

This Cybersecurity Engineer role is based in Surrey with a 2-3 day hybrid working pattern and a salary of up to £80,000. You will join our growing technology team and play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering security programmes, working closely with technology, infrastructure, architecture and business stakeholders.
