Software Engineer - Orpington

Salary: £43,000 - 83,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for Software Engineers/Developers at all experience levels.
• We ideally want experience in simulation.
• We require programming skills in one or more of C#, C++, Java, or Unreal Engine.
• We need strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• We value strong organisational and communication skills.
• We need the ability to work effectively within collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams.
• Desirable experience includes simulation, training systems, gaming, modelling, AI, AI/VR, and/or defence domains.
• We ideally prefer a degree in a numerate subject or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities:

• We design and develop efficient, maintainable, high-quality code.
• We design, implement, and execute automated tests.
• We contribute to agile ceremonies including reviews and retrospectives.
• We collaborate with colleagues to resolve technical issues.
• We support the delivery of robust software solutions to defence and training customers.
• We work within project teams to deliver bespoke software solutions and applications that meet customer needs.
• We operate in a fast-paced environment across a wide variety of projects.
