C# Software Engineer .Net - Quant Trading
Job Description
Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements:- Outstanding academic record, including at least a 2.1 in Computer Science, Mathematics or a similar STEM discipline from a top-tier university (for example, a Russell Group or top 100 global university)
- Strong A-level results
- Advanced C# .NET programming skills
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases
- Experience in a finance or trading environment
- Thorough understanding of computer science fundamentals, including OOP, data structures, design patterns and algorithms
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong business acumen
- Ability to take ownership and lead projects
- Collaborative approach with strong problem-solving and idea-sharing skills
- Design and develop high-performance applications, APIs and services
- Support cross-asset trading, analytics and risk management workflows
- Work with quantitative researchers and financial specialists
- Solve complex technical challenges involving scalability, performance, data processing and system design
- Build platforms that bring trading and risk models into production

This is a full-time onsite role based in our Central Newcastle office, working Monday to Friday with hours of 09:00 to 18:00 and some flexibility.
