IT Infrastructure Engineer
Job Description
Salary: £72,000 - 85,000 per year
Requirements:- We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer with experience supporting IT operations across multiple hubs or locations.
- We value experience providing escalation support for Service Desk teams and mentoring colleagues on complex issues.
- We need strong troubleshooting skills across IT and audio-visual environments.
- We are looking for experience contributing to infrastructure projects and working with timelines, quality standards, and best practices.
- We value scripting and automation experience, especially with tools such as Okta, Slack, and Make.com.
- We expect experience integrating REST APIs and automating repetitive tasks.
- We are looking for familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools such as Nagios and Zabbix.
- We value practical knowledge of DevOps tools such as GitHub and Terraform.
- We expect a solid understanding of identity management systems and Jamf environments; Jamf 200+ is a plus.
- We prioritize experience and potential over formal academic qualifications.
- We require the role to be based within commuting distance of our London or Barcelona hub.
- English is the official language in our office, so we ask for a resume in English.
- We serve as an escalation point for our Service Desk team, providing guidance on complex issues and mentoring colleagues.
- We troubleshoot and resolve IT and audio-visual issues across our European hubs to minimize disruption and keep operations running smoothly.
- We assist in planning, executing, and monitoring IT infrastructure projects.
- We develop and maintain scripts and automation workflows across platforms such as Okta, Slack, and Make.com.
- We integrate and leverage REST APIs to enhance tooling and automate repetitive tasks.
- We configure, optimize, and maintain monitoring and alerting tools such as Nagios and Zabbix.
- We apply fundamental knowledge of DevOps tools such as GitHub and Terraform.
- We maintain and support core infrastructure tools, including identity management systems and Jamf environments.
- We anticipate potential IT issues and proactively mitigate risks.
- We analyze operational and performance trends using data-driven insights to support strategic objectives.
- We continuously identify opportunities to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and enhance platform reliability.
- We evaluate new tools and provide recommendations aligned with team and business needs.
- We develop reusable components and adhere to established standards for automation and tooling.
- We collaborate across teams, provide feedback, and contribute to shared systems and processes.
