IT Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: £72,000 - 85,000 per year

• We are looking for familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools such as Nagios and Zabbix.
• We value practical knowledge of DevOps tools such as GitHub and Terraform.
• We expect a solid understanding of identity management systems and Jamf environments; Jamf 200+ is a plus.
• We prioritize experience and potential over formal academic qualifications.
• We require the role to be based within commuting distance of our London or Barcelona hub.
• English is the official language in our office, so we ask for a resume in English.

Responsibilities:

• We serve as an escalation point for our Service Desk team, providing guidance on complex issues and mentoring colleagues.
• We troubleshoot and resolve IT and audio-visual issues across our European hubs to minimize disruption and keep operations running smoothly.
• We assist in planning, executing, and monitoring IT infrastructure projects.
• We develop and maintain scripts and automation workflows across platforms such as Okta, Slack, and Make.com.
• We integrate and leverage REST APIs to enhance tooling and automate repetitive tasks.
• We configure, optimize, and maintain monitoring and alerting tools such as Nagios and Zabbix.
• We apply fundamental knowledge of DevOps tools such as GitHub and Terraform.
• We maintain and support core infrastructure tools, including identity management systems and Jamf environments.
• We anticipate potential IT issues and proactively mitigate risks.
• We analyze operational and performance trends using data-driven insights to support strategic objectives.
• We continuously identify opportunities to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and enhance platform reliability.
• We evaluate new tools and provide recommendations aligned with team and business needs.
• We develop reusable components and adhere to established standards for automation and tooling.
• We collaborate across teams, provide feedback, and contribute to shared systems and processes.
