Lead ServiceNow Solution Architect
Job Description
Salary: £95,000 - 130,000 per year
Requirements:- Certified ServiceNow Administrator (CSA) or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical information to technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven ServiceNow experience as an architect with a track record of leading complex solution designs, delivering out-of-the-box applications, custom application design, and complex integrations
- Deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, modules, and best practices
- Experience with ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITBM, CSM, HRSD, and ITOM
- Experience with ServiceNow scripting languages such as JavaScript and GlideRecord
- Experience with API integrations and other integration technologies
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Solid understanding of general IT and software delivery best practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint skills
- Certified Master Architect (CMA) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or equivalent is beneficial
- Implementation Specialist certification or equivalent in two or more products such as ITSM, HRSD, GRC, SecOPS, ITOM, ITAM, or SPM is beneficial
- Certification in non-ServiceNow enterprise platform technologies such as Azure, AWS, or M365 is beneficial
- ServiceNow developer experience is beneficial but not required
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions aligned with business needs and strategic objectives
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business processes, and translate them into technical specifications
- Develop and maintain detailed architectural diagrams, design documents, and technical specifications
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards
- Perform code reviews and ensure the quality and performance of ServiceNow solutions
- Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems using APIs and other integration technologies
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow solutions
- Stay current with the latest ServiceNow features, updates, and best practices
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of ServiceNow roadmap and strategy
- Mentor and guide junior team members
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and maintainable
- Adhere to IT governance and security policies
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of ServiceNow processes and procedures
