Core Deployment & 5G Slice Integration Engineer

Salary: £80,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require a valid UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.
• We require 5 years experience in mobile core network engineering.
• We require the ability to work full-time on site in Egham and commute to the location.
• We are looking for hands-on experience with 4G EPC, 5G Core, Private 5G Core, mobile network architecture and network slicing.
• We value experience with major core network vendors such as Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung, Huawei or equivalent platforms.
• We require strong knowledge of AMF, SMF, UPF, UDM, AUSF, PCF and subscriber management.
• We look for experience integrating core networks with RAN and IP transport networks.
• We need a good understanding of IP networking, VLANs, routing, VPNs and firewall connectivity.
• We expect strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• We value confidence working directly with customers, partners and technical teams.
• We require excellent communication and technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities:

• We deploy and integrate mobile core network solutions for Private 5G and enterprise networks.
• We install, configure and upgrade core network software components.
• We configure core network services and management platforms.
• We manage subscriber provisioning, SIM management, APN/DNN configuration and service profiles.
• We support 5G network slicing configuration and validation.
• We integrate core networks with RAN, IP transport networks and enterprise applications.
• We execute end-to-end connectivity, ATP and acceptance testing.
• We perform alarm validation, fault troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• We support software upgrades, licensing activities and backup/restore procedures.
• We produce deployment documentation and technical reports.
• We support technical workshops and solution discussions.
• We translate customer requirements into effective technical solutions.
• We provide technical input into solution design, deployment planning and acceptance criteria.
• We work closely with customers, partners and internal technical teams.
