Product Owner

Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or similar role.
• Good understanding of Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving ability.
• Experience working with developers, testers, architects, and business users.
• Understanding of product management principles and Agile delivery.
• Interest in data, digital products, or technology platforms.
• Energy and Utilities domain experience.

Responsibilities:

• Own and manage our product backlog.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and priorities.
• Translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, testers, and product teams throughout the Agile delivery lifecycle.
• Prioritise product features based on business value.
• Participate in Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Support delivery of data-driven digital products.
• Help improve product quality and user experience.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery.

We are hiring a Product Owner to join our Agile delivery team, working on innovative digital and data-driven products. This is a remote role within the UK on an inside IR35 contract with a rate of £285–£300 per day. Were looking for someone who enjoys collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, and candidates with strong Agile Product Ownership or Business Analysis experience are encouraged to apply even if they do not meet every requirement.
