End User Support Engineer
Job Description
Salary: £45,000 - 50,000 per year
Requirements:- We require at least 5 years of experience in a Level 2 or Level 3 End User Support, Workplace Technology, or EUC support role.
- We require proven experience administering and supporting Google Workspace in a corporate environment.
- We require strong knowledge of Google Admin Console, user lifecycle management, security administration, and compliance controls.
- We require experience supporting and administering Slack, Airtable, and other SaaS collaboration platforms.
- We require Google Workspace Administrator Certification or equivalent demonstrable experience.
- We require strong macOS administration and support experience in a predominantly Mac-based environment.
- We require experience supporting Windows 11, iOS, and mobile devices.
- We require experience with MDM platforms such as JumpCloud, Iru (Kandji), Jamf, Intune, or equivalent.
- We require a strong understanding of IAM, RBAC, SSO, and MFA.
- We require knowledge of ITIL service management principles and ticketing platforms.
- We require experience supporting AV and meeting room technologies.
- We require excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- We require the right to work in the United Kingdom.
- We require hands-on experience administering Google Workspace.
- We require experience supporting macOS in a business environment.
- We require experience in L3 end user support.
- We provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support for our Google Workspace environment, including Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Meet, Calendar, and related services.
- We diagnose and resolve issues related to user accounts, permissions, integrations, email routing, security settings, and compliance configurations.
- We support and administer Slack Enterprise and Airtable environments, including permissions, integrations, workflows, and security settings.
- We troubleshoot complex application, endpoint, cloud service, network, and connectivity issues across multiple technology platforms.
- We support identity and access management solutions, including SSO, MFA, RBAC, and user lifecycle management.
- We collaborate with Engineering, Security, and wider IT teams to resolve cross-functional technical issues.
- We guide end users on best practices for workplace tools and deliver onboarding, offboarding, and training sessions.
- We manage user provisioning, group policies, and organisational units in Google Admin Console and our MDM tools.
- We monitor system health and security alerts and implement corrective actions.
- We maintain and optimise device policies, application deployment, patch management, endpoint compliance, and automation improvements.
- We administer SaaS platforms and integrations used across the organisation.
- We maintain accurate documentation, troubleshooting steps, and knowledge base articles.
- We log, track, categorise, and resolve incidents in Jira Service Management in line with ITIL best practices.
- We meet agreed service level agreements and operational performance targets.
- We identify trends through ticket analysis and recommend service improvements.
- We install, configure, and deploy workstations, laptops, printers, phones, and other end-user devices.
- We diagnose and resolve hardware, software, peripheral, and network-related issues.
- We support AV equipment for conferencing, including Logitech and Yealink.
- We manage the full lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, configuration, deployment, maintenance, retirement, and inventory control.
- We liaise with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and manage escalations.
- We identify opportunities to automate repetitive administrative activities and support processes.
- We develop and maintain scripts, workflows, and automation solutions using Google Apps Script, PowerShell, or Python.
- We lead root cause analysis, problem management, major incident support, and post-incident reviews.
- We mentor junior support engineers and share knowledge across the technology team.
- We support security operations, access reviews, audits, endpoint vulnerability remediation, and compliance activities.

We are a growing Technology team seeking a skilled and customer-focused End User Support Engineer (L2/L3) to act as a senior escalation point for complex end-user support issues across Google Workspace, Slack, Airtable, endpoint devices, collaboration technologies, and cloud-based applications and services. The role is based in our Central London office with an onsite requirement of 4 days per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:30, and includes a shared out-of-hours support rota covering 24/7/365. We offer a salary of £45,000 to £50,000 per year, plus bonus and benefits, including a health and wellbeing programme, life insurance, and private medical insurance.
