Vice President, Software Engineer - Finance Engineering

Salary: £74,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for a skilled Go developer to join our Financial Engineering team.
• We need strong software development experience with expert-level knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• We value a good understanding of crypto trading.
• We are looking for strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and own issues through to resolution.
• We expect experience developing web-based applications.
• We need strong working knowledge of Python.
• We require experience providing first-line support for business clients.
• We value full SDLC process experience.
• We expect excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Bonus points for technical experience with Databricks or similar Delta Lake platforms.

• Bonus points for familiarity with financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and PnL.

Responsibilities:

• We collaborate with the Finance Engineering team to maintain and enhance existing solutions.
• We work with internal Finance and Accounting clients to develop new solutions.
• We provide first-line support to internal clients by handling queries and identifying and resolving issues.
• We contribute to new Finance Engineering initiatives.
