Lead Python Developer

Salary: £61,000 - 101,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong commercial Python development experience.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL and data engineering.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory and Power BI.
• Previous technical leadership experience.
• Financial services experience is highly desirable.
• Applicants must have full UK working rights; visa sponsorship and work permits are not available for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Python application and data platform development.
• Build scalable solutions using Python, PostgreSQL, Azure Data Factory and Power BI.
• Mentor developers and champion engineering best practices.
• Work closely with the business to deliver innovative, AI-driven solutions using Claude and Microsoft Copilot.
