Endpoint Support Engineer

Salary: £46,800 - 46,800 per year

Requirements:

• Strong experience providing second-line desktop or endpoint support.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.
• Experience troubleshooting desktop and laptop hardware, software and peripherals.
• Knowledge of Citrix, endpoint security and asset management solutions.
• Strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
• ITIL Foundation knowledge or equivalent service management experience.
• Full valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Applicants must be UK residents.

Responsibilities:

• Provide second-line technical support to clinical and corporate users.
• Resolve incidents remotely and in person.
• Support the deployment, maintenance and improvement of endpoint hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents relating to desktops, laptops, applications and associated equipment.
• Build, install, configure, upgrade and maintain IT equipment and software.
• Manage incidents and service requests within the IT service management system.
• Support Active Directory, Windows devices, Microsoft 365, Citrix and endpoint security tooling.
• Carry out site visits across Norfolk and Suffolk for hardware rollouts, moves, changes and technical support.
• Maintain accurate endpoint asset and support documentation.

We are recruiting for an experienced Endpoint Support Engineer to join our Digital Services function within a large NHS community healthcare organisation. This is a hybrid role based in Norwich, covering Norfolk and Suffolk, with an initial 3–6 month contract on a day rate of £180 per day, inside IR35. The position is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, starting ASAP. We offer the opportunity to support vital healthcare services through hands-on endpoint support, deployment and maintenance work across our organisation.
