Job Description

Salary: £63,000 - 103,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Experience performing a technical role within the ServiceNow ecosystem
  • Experience administering one or more ServiceNow instances
  • Experience configuring, customising, and creating integrations on the ServiceNow platform is desirable
  • A track record of delivering quality work to defined timescales for different stakeholders
  • Good communication skills and an approachable manner, with strong written English
  • Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical people about requirements, technical problems, and potential solutions
  • Experience scripting and debugging in one or more of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, SOAP, or REST, ideally in ServiceNow
  • Knowledge of multiple ServiceNow applications across the platform, including ITSM
  • Understanding of service management best practice, including ITIL
  • Ability to provide and deliver feedback
  • Experience delivering work using agile methodologies
  • Ability to take responsibility for own learning and demonstrate self-development
  • ServiceNow CSA certification would be beneficial, but is not essential
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver solutions containing high-quality ServiceNow code and development
  • Ensure work delivered adheres to industry and our best practice standards
  • Devise and scope solutions to customer requirements
  • Work closely with engagement managers and customers to deliver in an agile methodology
  • Provide functional and technical skills to document and configure customer requirements
  • Deliver high-quality ServiceNow code and customisation
  • Maintain a high level of documentation for coding and customisation
  • Devise solutions to predicted problems and evaluate options
  • Combine all elements of the ServiceNow design and test its performance
  • Increase application operating efficiency and adapt to new requirements as needed
  • Assist with system testing and UAT
  • Provide advice and guidance to customers on implementing ServiceNow using ITIL best practice, ServiceNow best practice, industry trends, and ServiceNow usage
  • Keep abreast of industry trends in service management and developments in the ServiceNow portfolio
  • Share best practices and knowledge with colleagues
  • Perform demonstrations of work developed when required
