Lead Product Manager

Salary: £40,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for an established senior or lead product manager, ideally with experience in a software or SaaS environment.
• We need strong experience working directly with development teams in an agile or scrum environment.
• We need proven ability to prioritise a complex backlog and justify decisions to senior stakeholders.
• We need excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting to executives and customers.
• We need experience conducting user research and turning findings into actionable requirements.
• We would prefer experience in B2B SaaS or the cybersecurity/tech sector.
• We would prefer experience with AI adoption in product features and processes.
• We would prefer formal product or agile certifications.
• We would prefer familiarity with product tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
• We need you to be based in the Leeds area and comfortable working from the office 2-3 days per week.
• We need you to have the legal right to work in the UK, as we cannot sponsor visa applications.

Responsibilities:

• We want you to own the product vision end to end, from discovery through to delivery.
• We want you to own the product backlog, ensuring epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria are clear.
• We want you to act as the Lead Product Owner in agile ceremonies including planning, refinement, review, and retrospectives.
• We want you to make fast, well-reasoned prioritisation decisions that balance customer value, technical feasibility, and business impact.
• We want you to define and own the product roadmap, aligned to our company strategy.
• We want you to communicate roadmap, progress, and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
• We want you to lead customer discovery sessions, interviews, and feedback loops to gather insight.
• We want you to translate business and customer needs into clear product features that engineering can act on.
• We want you to manage stakeholder expectations proactively, especially around scope, timelines, and change.
• We want you to apply structured prioritisation frameworks such as RICE or MoSCoW.
• We want you to define and track product KPIs and OKRs, using data to inform decisions and demonstrate impact.
• We want you to identify market trends, competitor moves, and user behaviour shifts that should shape product direction.
• We want you to partner with sales and customer success teams to support new opportunities and existing customers.
• We want you to work closely with product marketing on positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans for new features and releases.
• We want you to provide commercial teams with collateral, training, and context so they can confidently represent the product.
• We want you to feed customer, marketing, and sales insight back into product prioritisation decisions.
• We want you to line manage and mentor junior Product Managers.
• We want you to foster strong working relationships with engineering, support, and commercial teams.
• We want you to champion a product-led culture built on curiosity, customer obsession, and continuous improvement.
