1st Line Engineer
Job Description
Salary: £28,000 - 28,000 per year
Requirements:- Minimum 1 year of commercial experience in a 1st Line role providing technical support to a range of clients
- Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP and DNS
- Server administration experience, including user accounts, admissions and permissions
- Understanding of MS 365
- Understanding of MS SharePoint
- Good understanding of Windows Server
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with colleagues, clients and third parties at all levels
- Ability to work independently and as part of the wider team
- High-level customer service skills, with the ability to manage clients effectively while prioritizing tasks
- Access to own vehicle due to the nature of the role
- Act as the first point of contact for clients with technical queries
- Write and update user and system documentation
- Manage technical tickets and escalate to senior engineers when necessary
- Work on day-to-day support tasks and ad-hoc project work
- Provide consistent, high-level communication and customer service to clients over the phone and via email
