1st Line Engineer

Salary: £28,000 - 28,000 per year

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of commercial experience in a 1st Line role providing technical support to a range of clients
• Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP and DNS
• Server administration experience, including user accounts, admissions and permissions
• Understanding of MS 365
• Understanding of MS SharePoint
• Good understanding of Windows Server
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working with colleagues, clients and third parties at all levels
• Ability to work independently and as part of the wider team
• High-level customer service skills, with the ability to manage clients effectively while prioritizing tasks
• Access to own vehicle due to the nature of the role

Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact for clients with technical queries
• Write and update user and system documentation
• Manage technical tickets and escalate to senior engineers when necessary
• Work on day-to-day support tasks and ad-hoc project work
• Provide consistent, high-level communication and customer service to clients over the phone and via email
