Senior Technology Product Owner

Salary: £44,000 - 84,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience working in safety-critical, operationally focused, or technically complex environments
• Broad technical awareness with strong judgement to balance risk, resilience, lifecycle requirements, investment priorities, and business value
• Confidence working across Marine Operations, Technology, OT, Cyber, Engineering, and supplier teams
• Ability to build effective relationships and influence decisions across organisational boundaries
• Ability to challenge constructively and translate technical and operational insight into clear priorities
• Experience establishing governance, accountability, and control to support safe, resilient, and efficient marine operations

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic ownership and decision-making for the technology that underpins Marine traffic management, VTS, GPCC, Dockmaster, waterways, and remote port operations
• Set the product roadmap for the technology estate
• Manage risk and resilience across the technology landscape
• Guide investment and lifecycle decisions
• Ensure technology services remain safe, secure, reliable, and aligned to operational needs
• Work closely with Marine Operations, Technology, OT, Cyber, Engineering, Data teams, and external suppliers
• Bring structure and governance to a complex environment
• Balance operational priorities, risk, resilience, and long-term value
• Drive a proactive, strategically managed technology capability that supports business continuity and the safe operation of critical marine services
