Application Engineer

Salary: £137,800 - 137,800 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience in application support and maintenance
• Experience with configuration management and IT asset control
• Experience with service availability, capacity, and component management
• Experience with change, incident, and problem management
• Experience with ServiceNow
• Experience with stakeholder engagement
• Hold or be eligible to obtain SC clearance

Responsibilities:

• Support, manage, and maintain a suite of applications
• Keep services running against agreed performance targets
• Handle secure configuration and IT asset control
• Manage service components
• Take ownership of incidents and problem investigation through to resolution
• Apply change control procedures
• Engage with users and stakeholders to understand their needs

We are a public sector organisation based in Exeter, and this is a hybrid contract role with one day per week on site. We are offering an initial 12-month contract with pay up to £530 per day. The role focuses on application operations and support, and continual service improvement and process efficiency work would be beneficial.
