Software Developer

Salary: £30,000 - 36,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong experience in .Net for backend development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (React), HTML, and CSS for front-end development.
• Experience in architecting scalable applications and designing APIs.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Strong understanding of database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Ability to work on-site in Hull, five days a week.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• React experience: 3 years required.
• Microsoft Azure experience: 3 years required.
• Location requirement: Kingston upon Hull HU1 3EN.
• Strong architectural expertise.
• Experience with Python for backend services.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Knowledge of security best practices for web applications is a plus.
• Experience in DevOps and automation is a plus.
• Experience using and implementing AI is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop full applications, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
• Architect and implement backend services using Python and integrate them with front-end applications.
• Build intuitive and responsive UI components with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers, to deliver high-quality software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in full-stack development.
• Build and maintain web applications that deliver seamless user experiences.
• Work on cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure.
• Develop backend services in .Net.
• Build dynamic front-end interfaces with JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
• Take ownership of architectural decisions and influence development strategies.
