Python Developer - Birmingham

Salary: £40,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require a minimum of 5 years software development experience.
• We require strong hands-on experience with Python, React, TypeScript, SQL, FastAPI, BigQuery, MongoDB and GCP.
• We require experience with APIs, integrations, cloud deployment and data pipelines.
• We require strong SQL and data modelling skills.
• We require knowledge of CI/CD, testing and production support.
• We require the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• SAP ERP experience is desirable.
• Manufacturing sector experience is desirable.
• Exposure to AI, automation and data warehousing solutions is desirable.

Responsibilities:

• We develop and support internal applications, APIs, integrations and data pipelines.
• We troubleshoot and resolve issues across web applications, databases and cloud platforms.
• We drive automation initiatives to reduce manual processes and improve efficiency.
• We translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• We contribute to code reviews, testing, CI/CD and release processes.
• We support the ongoing development of reporting, analytics and AI-enabled solutions.
