Requirements:- Java

- Unit testing
- DevSecOps awareness using tools such as Tekton, ArgoCD, and SonarQube
- Red Hat OpenShift container platform or Kubernetes experience
- Quarkus framework experience
- Front-end development using Angular
- Develop high-quality, readable, scalable, and easily maintained code using Java and related technologies, meeting requirements and coding standards
- Develop reusable patterns and encourage innovation that enhances team velocity
- Contribute to quality assurance by writing unit and automated tests
- Conduct design and code reviews to ensure code meets coding best practices, unit testing, security, scalability, and maintainability guidelines
- Ensure code is sufficiently documented and share knowledge of solutions implemented
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups in an Agile environment, contributing to agile-based estimating

We are offering a 12-month contract opportunity for a Software Engineer to join our collaborative, forward-thinking Agile Scrum team working on innovative geospatial software using the latest cloud-based technologies. The role is based in Newcastle or Guildford, with 35 hours per week, an hourly rate of £60 via Umbrella inside IR35. SC clearance is required before starting, and active SC on application is preferred.
