PTC Windchill PLM Developer - Stevenage

Salary: £23,000 - 63,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require 7+ years of experience in PTC Windchill development and support.
• We require strong knowledge of Windchill PDM Link modules, architecture, and deployment models.
• We require hands-on experience with Windchill BRF and Info*Engine for integrations and automation.
• We require a solid understanding of PLM concepts and product lifecycle processes, including design, change, release, and manufacturing.
• We require experience working in engineering, manufacturing, or other complex enterprise environments.
• We value exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery environments and collaboration in cross-functional teams.
• We value familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools such as Git/SVN, build and deployment tools, and automated testing.
• We require a bachelors degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• We require UK National status, preferably with prior SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain SC Clearance.
• We require the ability to commute to, or regularly travel to, our Stevenage office or customer site as needed.

Responsibilities:

• We configure and customize Windchill PDM Link modules, including Change, Document, and BOM Management.
• We design, develop, and maintain Windchill workflows, lifecycle templates, and business rules.
• We implement customizations using Java, JSP, XML, and Windchill APIs following best practices.
• We integrate Windchill with ERP and other enterprise systems using Info*Engine and web services.
• We ensure reliable data exchange, synchronization, and integrity between Windchill and external systems.
• We troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windchill performance, scalability, access, and data integrity.
• We provide ongoing application support and maintenance, and assist with upgrades, patches, and environment changes.
• We collaborate with business analysts, engineering, manufacturing, and IT teams to gather and refine PLM requirements.
• We translate business requirements into effective Windchill configurations, customizations, and workflows.
• We advise on PLM best practices and participate in design reviews, solution validation, and user acceptance testing.
