Quality Assurance Analyst

Salary: £28,000 - 28,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for a candidate with an understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• We want strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• We need someone confident in troubleshooting complex problems and performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• We value self-motivation, self-discipline, and the ability to manage time effectively.
• You should be able to prioritise requirements and multi-task.
• Experience or knowledge of test management and bug tracking tools such as Jira, Testrail, or Zephyr is desirable.
• Experience or knowledge of creating API calls with applications such as Bruno or Postman is desirable.
• A desire to learn, or some exposure to, automation tools such as Playwright or Selenium is desirable.
• Any experience using TypeScript and/or AI testing is desired but not required.

Responsibilities:

• We will need you to ensure software products are fully functional and fit for purpose for our customers through validation and verification.
• You will collaborate with our QA and Development teams to own the quality of assigned features.
• You will maintain and update our regression packs.
• You will execute test runs and produce execution reports for key stakeholders.
• You will create test plans.
• You will create test cases based on test plans.
• You will review test cases created by others and confirm they are written clearly in Gherkin format.
• You will liaise with the QA lead and key stakeholders on defects raised.
• You will help monitor recurring bugs to identify root cause analysis and support more permanent fixes.
• You will apply risk management principles to each defect.
• You will monitor and guide Graduate QAs in ISTQB practices.
• You will comply with our Health & Safety, Data Protection, Information Security, PCI, and DSP policies and procedures.
