Cost Modeller

Salary: £36,000 - 76,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require Security Check (SC) clearance for this role.
• We are seeking an experienced Cost Modeller.
• Experience supporting financial modelling for competitive, single-source, and QDC contracts is preferred.
• Experience working with commercial procurement frameworks and supplier tenders is relevant.
• Experience collaborating with finance teams on pricing, VAT treatments, and budget breakdowns is relevant.

Responsibilities:

• We will develop cost models for service-based contracts within commercial procurement frameworks.
• We will create cost models for hardware-based contracts for commercial procurements.
• We will collaborate with finance colleagues to understand and incorporate industry pricing requirements, including VAT treatments.
• We will work alongside finance teams to capture and apply RDEL and CDEL breakdowns accurately.
• We will support the publication of budget values for projects and provide evidence as required by scrutineers.
• We will assist with financial modelling for competitive, single-source, and QDC contracts.
• We will contribute to the evaluation and negotiation of supplier tenders.

We are supporting an urgent requirement for a Cost Modeller to join our clients team. This role is based at RAF High Wycombe, with an expectation to be onsite 2 to 3 days per week. Security Check (SC) clearance is mandatory, and the start date is 1st July.
