Senior C++ Developer – Core Pricing and Risk Platform

This position has high visibility across the business and exposure to all parts of the trading lifecycle. This position requires a commitment to effective problem solving, strong technical skills, good attention to detail and excellent communication skills.</p> <p>Your future role within QRT</p> <ul> <li>Key member of the core technology team building and enhancing high throughput Linux based services</li> <li>Integrating and maintaining pricing models for trading and risk calculation within the core technology platform</li> <li>Potential to work with other services in the platform like order, trade, position managers, product reference and market data systems</li> <li>Working closely with pricing quants, quantitative developers, traders and operations staff to design and develop cutting-edge systems to keep QRT at the forefront of its field</li> <li>Working in primarily in C++ and python</li> <li>Direct interaction with risk managers and trading desks</li> </ul> <p>Your present skillset</p> <ul> <li>4+ years of experience of a front or middle office role</li> <li>Expert in low latency, high throughput Linux development using advanced C/C++, STL</li> <li>Key experience in designing and implementing multithreaded and distributed systems</li> <li>Experience working with pricing models is highly desirable</li> <li>Good knowledge of Equities, Futures, Options, Swaps asset classes highly desirable</li> <li>Good knowledge of execution lifecycles and instrument lifecycles (such as corporate actions, settlement, bond coupons, swap resets) is highly desirable</li> <li>Advanced knowledge of distributed network architecture</li> <li>Proficient with Linux / GCC development toolchain and Linux Red Hat OS is essential</li> <li>Experience with QT/WX/MFC GUI Frameworks nice to have.</li> <li>Team player with good communication skills</li> </ul> <p>QRT is an equal opportunity employer.
