Junior Business Data Analyst

PIX4D is seeking a talented Business Data Analyst to bridge Finance, Product Management and Commercial Operations (Sales and Marketing), develop complex analytical tools to drive strategic decisions and optimize processes. You will be a member of PIX4D’s dynamic Finance team, in a hybrid work environment, based in Lausanne, Switzerland.

In this cross-functional role, you will query complex datasets, build dashboards, define KPIs, and translate emerging trends into actionable insights for stakeholders. You will balance data integrity with commercial impact, transforming raw data into insights that support high-level strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Reporting: Cleaning, manipulating, and analyzing large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Dashboard Development: Creating interactive dashboards and reports using dashboarding tools and leveraging AI-powered tools for enhanced automation and visualization.
• AI & Automation: Leveraging Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) to streamline data workflows and enhance intelligent decision-making.
• Database Querying: Using SQL to extract and prepare data from various systems.
• Actionable Insights: Translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for business growth, efficiency, and optimization.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Data Governance: Ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and standardization.

Requirements

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (advanced), and experience using data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• AI Proficiency: Familiarity with Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) implementations.
• Analytical Abilities: Strong statistical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Communication: Ability to tell a story with data to non-technical stakeholders.
• Education/Experience: A master’s degree in business, economics, statistics, or data analytics, coupled with a first experience in supporting data-driven decisions.
