Windows 11 Deployment Engineer

Salary: £59,800 - 63,700 per year

Requirements:

• We require NPPV3 clearance for this role.
• We need candidates with experience supporting Windows 11 device deployments and end-of-life hardware decommissioning.
• We require experience with Autopilot, Intune, and Active Directory administration tasks.
• We need experience updating asset records and managing device ownership details in asset management tools.
• We require experience logging faulty in-warranty devices with Lenovo.

Responsibilities:

• We assess device readiness and review eligibility for deployment.
• We upload hardware hashes to Autopilot as required.
• We move users and devices into defined groups through Intune.
• We support the build and configuration of devices.
• We deploy devices to end users.
• We provide post-deployment support and troubleshooting.
• We carry out Active Directory housekeeping tasks.
• We update asset details and owners in our asset management tool.
• We decommission end-of-life devices.
• We log faulty in-warranty devices with Lenovo.

We are a large IT company with a strong reputation for providing IT hardware and upgrades across the country. We are supporting a customer with multiple three- to six-month contract requirements based in South Yorkshire. The role is outside IR35 with a pay rate of £230 to £245 per day, and we are looking for engineers to help deliver a large-scale Windows 11 device upgrade and hardware decommissioning programme.
