Technical Services Engineer

Salary: £30,000 - 30,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for someone with an understanding of and experience in supporting and implementing parts of the following technology areas:
• VMware, including management and deployment of virtual machines
• Microsoft 365 (O365)
• Automated patch management via WSUS and third-party tools
• End user support, including Windows 10/11, VPN, and account administration
• Network technologies such as TCP/IP, VPN, DHCP/DNS, and firewalls
• Windows Server technologies, including Active Directory, Group Policies, and Remote Desktop Services
• Backup technology, specifically Veeam
• A methodical troubleshooting approach and strong attention to detail
• Qualifications in Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, and Veeam certifications are desirable but not required
• We need someone who can work to tight deadlines and manage priorities
• Up-to-date knowledge of technologies
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite and remote support as part of our Infrastructure team
• Address IT issues across multiple technology domains, including Office 365, networking, Windows desktop support, and backups
• Work on site five days a week due to the nature of the role
• Support and implement infrastructure technologies across the areas listed in the requirements
