Technical Customer Support Advisor

Salary: £28,000 - 28,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for experience in a technical support, field service, or ventilation/HVAC-related role.
• We need a good understanding of electrical wiring basics and the ability to interpret basic wiring diagrams.
• We value strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical information clearly.
• We need a confident communicator with excellent phone and written communication skills.
• We require comfort supporting mobile apps, Bluetooth/Wi-Fi connectivity, and basic network queries.
• You should be able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Desirable: familiarity with single-room ventilation, MVHR, extract systems, or air quality products.
• Desirable: experience supporting installers, contractors, or facilities teams.
• Desirable: experience using CRM/helpdesk platforms such as Zendesk or Salesforce.
• Desirable: electrical or HVAC qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• We provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and live chat.
• We guide installers and end-users through wiring diagrams, control setups, and configuration tasks.
• We deliver phone-based app support, including connectivity troubleshooting and user guidance.
• We assist customers with product setup, commissioning, and operational best practices.
• We diagnose ventilation system issues and escalate complex cases to engineering teams.
• We maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions.
• We contribute to support documentation, wiring guides, FAQs, and training materials.
• We identify recurring issues or customer feedback and relay insights for product development.
• We visit customer sites to assist with fault finding, warranty repair, and setup plus mobile/Wi-Fi connectivity support.

This is a full-time Technical Customer Support Advisor role based in Leicester, UK, with a salary of £28,000 based on experience. The role is primarily in-house at our Desk & Workshop, with occasional site visits.
