Tech Specialist

Salary: £63,000 - 103,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require 7 to 10 years of experience in the IT industry, including 5+ years in Appian.
• We require 4 to 5 years of experience developing enterprise-level web applications using an object-oriented technology stack.
• We require 2+ years of experience designing BPM applications.
• We require at least 3 years of experience leading a team of developers.
• We require experience developing on J2EE platforms, .NET platforms, and RDBMS platforms such as Oracle, MySQL, and SQL Server.
• We require strong logical and analytical reasoning ability.
• We require experience removing technical and delivery impediments through feasibility assessments, solution evaluations, and fit-for-purpose architectural recommendations.
• We require the ability to engage with business stakeholders early to understand requirements, define solution approaches, establish architectural guidance, and create initial solution frameworks.
• We require experience acting as the primary technical authority for delivery planning and making strategic decisions on sprint commitments and priorities with Product Owners and business stakeholders.
• We require strong team-player qualities.
• We require fluent English communication and social skills to interact with a global customer base.
• We require flexibility to travel.
• We require working knowledge of networks and operating system platforms, including Windows and Linux.
• We require knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• We require Appian Level 2 Certification.

• We will serve as the Tech Specialist in Reading, UK.
• We will develop and support enterprise-level web applications and BPM solutions.
• We will lead a team of developers.
• We will work with business stakeholders to define requirements, solution approaches, and architectural guidance.
• We will provide technical authority for delivery planning and sprint prioritization.
• We will remove technical and delivery impediments through assessments and solution recommendations.
• We will collaborate with Product Owners and business stakeholders to ensure realistic and sustainable delivery outcomes.
